Chair – Catherine Bostock-Hudy, EA

Catherine received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from SUNY-Adirondack in Queensbury, NY. She continued her education and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. Catherine also taught the Tax Compliance Course as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY-Adirondack for four years.

Catherine started CBH Business Services, Inc in 1998 after working for a manufacturing company for nearly two decades. She acquired a wide range of experiences in the Finance Department, starting as a Financial Analyst and through the years being promoted to Plant Controller.

When Catherine started CBH Business Services, Inc in 1998, her focus was on individual and business income tax returns and bookkeeping for small businesses. She became an Enrolled Agent in 2005, and NTPI Fellow in 2012 and has served on NAEA Education and Membership Committees. She is also a past President of the Northern New England Society of Enrolled Agents. Catherine was elected to the NAEA Education Foundation Board of Trustees in 2015.

Vice Chair – Bill Nemeth, EA

Bill and his wife Merry Brodie previously owned a major tax franchise, and sold this business in 2012. They started
another company specializing in audits and representation of troubled taxpayers.

Bill has been an Enrolled Agent for over 17 years and a Tax Professional for over 35 years. He has been a Trustee with the NAEA Education Foundation for 5 years. He is an elected member of the NAEA Affiliate Council. Bill is a founding member & VP of GAEA Education Scholarship Foundation – 15 Years. He is GAEA Immediate Past President & GAEA Education Chair – 8 Years.
He has appeared on Tax Talk Today as a panelist multiple times and is a former Prometic Contractor – RTRP & SEE Level 3 Test Development. He also has taught SEE 3 online for 3 years for Gleim and NAEA.

Bill is former Chair & current member of the NAEA Tax Track Committee, has been a Discussion Leader for NTPI Level 2, has taught NTPI Level 1 Transcript Analysis. Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering – Kettering Institute – (formerly General Motors Institute). Bill has Master’s degrees (MIT) in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing (Wayne State University) He has presented in-person & on-line webinars for the following organizations:  GAEA, NAEA, ASTPS, NCPE, and Auburn University in addition for the following state societies: Oklahoma; Alabama; New Mexico, Iowa, New York, NC, NNE.

Secretary/Treasurer – Patricia Kappen, EA

Patti has been in practice for 25 years preparing individual and business taxes, business consulting and accounting for her clients. Patti is an Enrolled Agent. She is a Past President of the California Society of Enrolled Agents. Past President of the California Society of Enrolled Agents Education Foundation and Board Member for both organizations for multiple terms. She currently serves as President of the Orange County Chapter of CSEA, the largest Chapter in California. Patti brings a lot of experience in Board work to her current positions and likes the camaraderie she finds with others who work on the Board with her, who simply want to do good and make a difference.

Patti received a Bachelor of Science from University of Phoenix, She is a National Tax Practitioner Institute Graduate (Fellow). Patti has received the Orange County Chapter Bill Geideman EA Life Time Achievement Award and the California Society of Enrolled Agents Distinguished Service Award.

Trustee – Bernadette Antonelli, EA, ATA, ATP

Bernadette Antonelli, EA, ATA, ATP, is the owner of Arlington Tax located in Kearny, New Jersey since 1985. She has more than 35 years of experience in taxation for individuals and small businesses. Bernadette has been a member of NAEA and NJSEA for more than 18 years. During that time she has held numerous positions within the affiliate including membership chair, a member of the board of directors, and president. On a national level, Bernadette has served on the membership committee, as membership chairperson, and four years on the affiliate council, most recently as chair. During her tenure as chair, the Affiliate Council saw the greatest meeting participation by the affiliates ever recorded. As membership chair, she initiated a new member mentoring program to engage members in NAEA upon joining.

Bernadette is a graduate of the NAEA Schulinder/Smolen Leadership Academy, and she and her daughter Brianna became the first mother/daughter team to become graduates of the National Tax Practitioner Institute (NTPI). In 2019 she was honored to have been awarded the NAEA Lee T. Byrd Outstanding Volunteer of the year award for volunteer service on behalf of NAEA.

Scholarship Committee Chair – Natasha Johnson, EA

Natasha began her career as an accountant with a New York City Enrolled Agent firm in 1998 where she sharpened her skills in individual and small business taxation. In later years, she worked in the Federal Tax division for global accounting firm, KPMG, LLP. She has a BBA from Pace University and graduate certificate in Taxation from Widener University. She is a currently serving on the board of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and also serving as Interim President of the Pennsylvania Society of Enrolled Agents. In addition to being an Enrolled Agent, Natasha is an instructor at Bucks County Community College where she teaches the Enrolled Agent Review course and a prep course for the AIPB Certified Bookkeeper Exam. The name Financial Bee was given to her by relatives in 2002 as a result of accommodating the busy tax season during the year.

EVP – Megan Killian, CAE

Megan Killian is the Executive Vice President of the National Association of Enrolled Agents. She has over 20 years of nonprofit and association experience. Most recently, Megan was Vice President of Member Relations for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. During her tenure at PICPA, Meg established a scholarship program for CPA Exam candidates which has provided hudreds of thousands of dollars to aspiring CPA’s.
